Julie Kolb notices Duane Allen: Most know him as Duane Allen, lead singer of the Oak Ridge Boys. I, however, know him as friend; and the man who gave me some of the best advice a girl could get when burdened with a problem. It was not the advice of a celebrity, but a true man of God. His humility and kindness towards his friends and fans is genuine. It is what I believe has made him a success both professionally and personally. He knows where his blessings come from and will be the first to tell you, that you too, should thank the Lord for yours. Thank you, Duane, for being an inspiration to me and a true man of perspective. God bless you

You baptized me not only as my minister but my friend and sister in Christ. You helped lead me to peace and you were right by my side when I invited Christ into my life. Robin notices Sherry: Sherry walked on the basketball court one day as our new coach when I was in 7th grade. I didn't really like her because she made us work HARD, be the best we could be, and do it consistently. Over the years, she continued to stress the importance of being the best and giving 110%. It wasn't until after she moved away that I realized what an inspiration she was in my life! More than a coach but a life friend and sister she is to me after 30 years. Thank you God for her and her influence on me! Thank you Sherry for always being there and expecting the best from me. You are loved much!

He is unwaveringly supportive of me, and does not ever make me feel judged, no matter how bad my choices have been. He shows compassion, love and loyalty to those who are lucky enough to know him. He is always thinking, and always learning and one of the smartest people I know. He loves God and stands forms in his convictions. Paula Germain notices Loretta Mazaris: My mother is one in a million and I'd like to include her as one of the five people who have inspired me. Joann notices Erin: You force me on a daily basis to remember God's purpose for me and always remind me of my outlook on life - especially when it gets foggy and I seem to forget it. You have guided me through a difficult transition in my life and helped me rediscover my inner confidence and the self that I had stifled for so long. Now - at another life changing point, you are there again - steadfast, strong and trustworthy. Although we haven't been close friends that long - we have built a foundation for a lifelong friendship that is unmovable. Thank you for being one my noticers and for everything you do daily.

July 8, 2009 @ 6:35 PM
Jen Taylor notices Brandon: I was just a child the day I became your mom. I wondered what lessons I could possibly teach you when I felt I hadn't learned enough myself. I worried for a long time over what I could possibly offer you, when I didn't have a red cent to my name. I cried for a long time, scared that I couldn't guide you to be the best you, when I had no wisdom of my own, guiding me to be the best me. But somehow, with every passing day, I noticed that it was you who taught me life's greatest lessons, it was you who showed me that wisdom finds those who seek it. And, it was you who offered me a rich life. One morning I woke up, and sat back watching you...a small toddler playing on the floor, singing "you are my SUNCHIME" for the first time...and it hit me, I realized that even a child could accomplish great things. Today you're 7, and I'm all grown up. I stare at you all the time, in awe almost always at how wonderful you are...I've watched you grow in so many ways. I glow with pride at my greatest accomplisment...and I wonder if you stare at me, thinking the same thing. Because... you helped shape me. Though you're still too little to truly understand , I will forever be grateful that I was the one chosen to raise and love you. I am confident that I will one day sit back and watch with pride, at the greatness you will bring to the rest of the world, and know that I was lucky enough to be the one to watch it all unfold 'Front row and center', after stepping down from 'right there with you'. I love you Oodles xoxoxox

Though I may neglect telling you, I am very, very proud of what you have accomplished in your life. Harry Reo notices Carl Liebert: To a man hard NOT to notice- thank YOU for all you do. While it is easy to get lost in the day to day biz results required to look at what you have done for our business, our industry and more importantly me, I am so very thankful Carl. You have provided insight through the art of great questioning and example into how I can be a better me. You inspire me to be a better leader, father, mentor and person. Through your eyes I have expanded who I am and more importantly perhaps where I will go. I cherish your insight, your friendship and most of all your leadership. You are a fantastic role model as a father, a husband, a mentor and a lover of life. I often catch myself placing my ‘Carl Glasses’ on to get a treasured perspective- and that perspective while sometimes tough is always FUN. Thank you for all you do, and much more importantly who you are.
June 29, 2009 @ 9:35 AM
Dee Alter notices Matt: I can't believe sometimes how blessed I am. Did you know that your name means miracle and gift from God? It does, I looked it up. We didn't know that when we named you, but I have always said you are my "miracle". I just wanted to take the time to say how much I love you and appreciate you; how proud I am of you; how you have always made me smile - made me think - made me stronger than I thought I was. You have this wonderful affect on people. You make those around you want to be better than they ever dreamed they could be. My grandson is so very lucky that God chose you to be his dad. And I am so very lucky that God chose you to be my son. Just thought you should know this, because life is too short to think all these wonderful thoughts about your loved ones and then not tell them (that would just be too sad). I pray you always love God, have a close relationship with your family, bond tight with your son, have close friends, lots of money, a heart full of joy and peace, and don't forget to dance and be silly sometimes. You are so loved! Mom

You constantly show it in both big and small things---making coffee for me, taking care of the yard, organizing the house and bills and being so spontaneous and fun at the drop of a hat. I can call you any time, any day and you would drop what you were doing to go to dinner, see a movie, run at the park, go see my Mom, etc. YOU ARE SO SPECIAL TO ME.

Laury Kormelink Gardner notices Rusty Garrett: Rusty - It's funny that I recevied notification of your acceptance of my LinkedIn invitation just this morning. I woke up thinking about the conversation we had at Esso Club during our Leadership retreat in Clemson. You asked me why I was with (that guy I was dating) and then told me the kind of person you thought would suit me. We didn't really ever talk about things personally, so it came at me out of the blue. But that night, I wrote down what you said and it was the first draft of the letter to God that wrote a few weeks later, asking for those qualities I was seeking. Three weeks later I was introduced to my husband. I am eternally grateful for that conversation and for the words you spoke to me that night. I may have eventually met Vic at another time, but I am sure the road I'd have chosen would have been different if I had not stopped to examine my circumstances at that moment in time. It may have been a conversation in passing, but I wanted to let you know what it meant to me.

It has certainly given me a better outlook in general. I look forward to many more Sundays hearing your sermons with a fresh, new "perspective". (Thank you Andy Andrews for that.) Sincerely, Linda Bonaroti

Melba Ward notices Gary Thorne: As a child you taught me that persistence pays off. You were about 5 years old--we were at the little league park. You wanted popcorn, but they were out. During the game you asked to go back to the concession stand for more popcorn, and I told you they didn't have any, but you insisted because you said they were supposed to have some later. I relented and let you go back to the concession stand, and you came back with popcorn. If you had not been persistent, you would not have gotten what you wanted, and I would not have learned a valuable lesson--a lesson that has helped me many times in my life. Happy Father's Day, son. Keep on being persistent. I love you.

(like in the volkswagon commercials back in '96) He told me to look outside and there was my present! It was a '92 Red Volkswagon Golf! That was so awesome and I'll always remember that. :) Thanks Dad!

Even now, after 27 years, you are my best friend and my best supporter. You are my warrior and I love you madly

Annette Hall notices Dorcy Russell: Where do I begin. I moved two doors down from you Dorcy, and my life took turns that I never expected. Your can do attitude rubbed off in both big and small ways at just the right time. I was ready for a person like you. One who fears very little, moves forward with confidence, and doesn't let the trials of life get you down. The trials instead seem to propel you forward. I know that you are on a journey to help people in both big and small ways, and you have certainly been wisdom and light entering my life. Thank you Dorcy.

Sian Lindemann notices Witold Twardowski: I met Witold in a ridiculously "flukey" way, now many years ago while he was building Mescalero's Restaurant in English Bay, Vancouver, BC. It was one of the most provactive and "otherworldly" meetings of my life. Inspired, and mezmerised by the "tone" of his creations, I have never since backed away from creating the very best, most beautiful and dazzling art, and creative projects of my own. I always think on him as I start new projects, and am continually reminded to create the highest and best possible. His works, ideas, creations, and person have been humbling and most inspiring
June 7, 2009 @ 1:13 PM
Sian Lindemann notices BJ Dohrmann: BJ Dohrmann of Ceo Space, an entrepreneurial training offered several times a year, and in business for over 20 years was the first to engender my understanding about cooperative business. Cooperation versus Competition may be something individuals aspire to, but his trainings, and efforts iconify the value of this methodology
June 7, 2009 @ 1:06 PM
Sian Lindemann notices Paul Lowe: Paul's work had a significant effect on me 20+ years ago. It was catalytic and more importantly his insights radically changed the way I do business. Leading with one's heart is the only way to go, and more specifically, his comments about "seekers" would not have the greatest effect on human consciousness, but those who do business consciously would be revolutionary and would "lead"
June 7, 2009 @ 1:02 PM
Mariah notices Byron: To the one who makes me whole. I'm grateful for your nurturing love, patience, and kindness. I respect and trust you for so many reasons. Your smile and good nature along with that beautiful head of curly hair made you irresistable. I am proud of you and can't imagine my life without you weaving your way in and out the way only you do Nina-Marie - don't change!! xoxo Mom
June 3, 2009 @ 6:08 PM
James R. Lamar notices Patrick Conrad: Pastor Patrick was technically my first youth pastor. I don't think he cared too much for me when we first met, which is definitely understandable to me. Today, he is my pastor and I am his youth pastor. I am so honored to serve with him in ministry. I have learned much from him and I am thankful to cry with him for the lost and rejoice with him for souls being saved through our fellowship.

June 2, 2009 @ 12:45 AM
Dell Hines Afzal notices Robert D. Smith: I noticed Robert when he came into my world on May 5, 19XX as a bouncing baby boy and lived with my family in Lake City, Florida. He and his mother (my Aunt Nita) lived with us while his father was in service in another country. Over the years I grew to love him as my little brother and even now as we are getting older :>) I still love him and appreciate his success, energy and influence, (oh yeah, and the fun we always have together). He pulled himself up from a lowly place and has succeeded far beyond my wildest expectations and I just wanted to tell him how proud I am of him. Papa loved to tease him and probably gave him a rough go at times but I think Robert knew it was because he LOVED him so and was proud of him. You knew Daddy loved you if he teased you a lot! Mama will always consider Robert as one of her own also. Between the two of them and Robert's many years of working farm work with us in Florida, I believe he developed the honesty of a good day's work for a good day's pay. He certainly learned how to get his hands dirty and be proud of what he accomplished! Good job BXX! PS., we thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Nashville and look forward to October.

Your Daddy Forever notices Jenna: Dear Jenna, I am writing this letter to let the whole world know that you changed my life forever. Your birth, eighteen years ago, influenced a nineteen year old selfish, immature, show-off more than you will ever know. I lived the 7 principles that Andy Andrews writes about. Seeing your big blue eyes made me realize that God's greatest gift and responsibility was to love you and care for you your entire life, even if it meant another twelve years of schooling and training. I gave up my foolish ways and desires so that I could play dolls and play tickle monster with you, and I loved it. Hearing your little cry and your big scream made me run to God to seek his wisdom to learn to be a father. Feeling your hugs of love taught me that loving actions are so much more important than loving words. Listening to your heart kept my heart focused on what really matters in life. Watching you find Joy and Happiness doing anything reminded me that Happiness is a choice. Learning to "Say I am sorry," was something we were determined to do together. But most of all, I now have the faith to know that unconditional love is patient and never fails. I will never quit loving you. Your Daddy Forever

Tim Keck notices Rob Cartner: As a young police officer I was very idealistic, always wanting to learn more and get better. Most of the old-timers joked and made fun at my expense. However, after becoming part of the SWAT team, I had the chance to go through training in Tulsa, OK with their Special Operations Team. That's when I met Sgt. Rob Cartner. During the days of difficult training we went through he was always a model of professionalism and class. But he also made an effort to connect with everyone there, even officers from small towns. Rob made us all feel like we could be great by telling stories about what his team had done, both right and wrong, using plenty of humor in the mix. Tulsa's SOT in that day was a top-notch and tightly-knit group that set the bar high. I always thought I had leadership skills, but Rob confirmed and encouraged me by selecting me to head up the joint assault team on the final day of training during the mock hostage rescue exercise. It was that day I realized I could lead. My confidence grew exponentially and I would work my way up through the ranks to Chief of Police, thanks in part to Sgt. Rob Cartner. Now I teach leadership and teamwork, using many of the examples learned during those hot summer days in Tulsa at the Cobra House, doing live-fire drills and telling stories. Thanks, Rob! You have had a much bigger impact thatn you think.

Connie Bird notices Sarah Williams: Not just good looks, brains but brawn too! I love Sarah's no nonsense way of determining just what needs to be done and then "Just do it!" Sarah, thank you for solvig my problem. I appreciate your inititave, you found a truck, rented it, went to the store to pick up our appliances and delivered them to the door. That's what I was hoping for. But no, Sarah doesn't stop there. She assisted in removing the old washer and dryer, cleaned up mountains of dust in the empty laundry room and assisted in getting the new ones in place. She watched her time to make sure the truck was back by it's deadline. She went home and graced us with yet another pleasant suprise, she came home to join us for a family dinner. Sarah, I love you and so appreciate all you do and more importantly who you are in this world; a person who makes a difference in many lives by going the extra mile. Love Mom

Debra notices Don and family: My entire world was shattered when my 26 year old son died very suddenly...no accident, no illness, no warning. My brother, Don, his wife Deborah, his teen daughter Danae, and his college age son Dayton stood by my daughter and me through a time that was very difficult for them as well. They loved Gregory so much and of all family members, they were closet to him with us. They put our needs first and offered support and love, the unconditional kind that we shared with Gregory. They called, they sent cards, they sent books, and they listened. They listened to the tears and the silence. They shared stories of Gregory and let us talk about him and his story. Don and his family are all incredible people. Don has inspired me for many years, and Deborah has been there for me many times, and his children too. Yet, these past two years when my entire life has been shattered beyond recognition, they have been there to help me pick up the pieces and try to find ways to make this incredible pain livable. I cannot think of people that I admire more in my life. Don and his family are a gift and a blessing to me. I would not be alive today if not for them.

My heart decided, in that first appointment, that I will do everything within my power to ensure your message will be heard around the world. You simply have far too much to offer to be a regional celebrity. I am sure I can speak for others who have crossed your path when I say that your life's work as a neurosurgeon, author, speaker, and revolutionary is raising the global conscienceness and will continue to for generations to come. I'll see you on Oprah ;) Julie Schnelker

Jill Probst notices Susan Line: Although she doesnt realize it Susan is and always has been one of the most important influences in my life. My life has always been a little chaotic but I was drawn as a little girl to Susan and her show dogs. She was a great playmate even though she is errr older than me. Susan is a beautiful person inside and out. She is the most honest and trustworthy person I have ever met. I regard her as my other mother. Which I am sure that she doesn't even realize because you see Susan doesn't have children... human children... she has always had dogs. I know that Gods plan was for me to move in across the street from her and to meet her through her precious dogs. I was an extremely shy girl with little self confidence... after meeting Susan and following her around I began to learn how to mimic her and show dogs. I absolutely found an inner strength relying on those dogs and watching her and knowing she would always tell me how wonderful I had done even when I was really not very good. I just want everyone including Susan to know that she is not only an important life changing person in my life but that she is also that person in my children's lives. No matter how far apart we are we will always be the family from the block - 121. We, I love you Susan. You are a special angel from Heaven. I thank God that I had you at the right time in my life. May you understand some day how incredibly wonderful you truly are and how much we love you!

Crystal Sanders notices Jeremy Schneider: It has been 6 years now. And when this popped up on the screen I could immediately answer who the 5 were/are. It is something I have been trying to do anyway. Though there are about 10, right off the top of my head I can answer the question with who, the why, and the Thank You! As you are the closest to me in my life, you are the first on my list. We were the most unlikely couple when we met, even I thought so! Lol. But you are the best thing to ever happen to me (aside from my boys you guys have to share that cake). You are always there for me, even when I don't know I need you. You encourage me, even if you already know I am going to fail at whatever task I have tried to take on, you are on the sideline showing your support. You have showed me that I am worth much more than I felt like I was worth when we met. And for that, your payback is right around the corner. You gave me what I needed for those first few steps to becoming someone successful in life. Now I am on the way. I go to work. Everyone steps aside to open doors and goes out of the way to help me do what I have to do to get the job done. It is like nothing I experienced before. My picture was in a national magazine! I never would have had the posture to get there if you had been there to cheer me on. In another year maybe two, I won't need to invest as much time in the business, it will be just fine. I will only need to put about 20 hours a month in. The rest of my time will belong t you and the boys. I would not be here without you. Like I said, payback is around the corner. Thank You for giving me the confidence I needed. Thank You for believing in me.
